Chrono-Map

Our Story

Why Chrono-Map exists and what kind of place-memory experience we are building.

Chrono-Map began with a simple observation: people move through layered history every day, but most places do not make those stories easy to see, compare, and share.

What We Care About

We focus on place-based storytelling: historic sites, film locations, public memory, architecture, and the human stories attached to each address.

Our goal is not only to publish facts, but to make cultural context discoverable in a way that feels useful on the street, on mobile, and across languages.

From One City to Many

Chrono-Map is designed for any place where history, migration, cinema, architecture, tourism, and everyday life overlap. The richer the layers, the stronger the storytelling experience becomes.

We are starting with Sydney as the first editorial layer, but the long-term vision is global. The product, content model, and bilingual experience are being built to expand beyond a single city.

Editorial Approach

We curate place pages with a mix of historical context, visual comparison, concise visitor guidance, and narrative hooks that help each location feel memorable instead of encyclopedic.

  • Readable on mobile while standing on-site
  • Clear enough for visitors, students, and casual explorers
  • Structured so future tours, plaques, and QR experiences can plug in cleanly
