Sydney Town Hall has been the city's civic headquarters since 1889, built in grand Victorian Second Empire style from local sandstone. But the real showstopper is inside: the Centennial Hall houses one of the world's largest pipe organs, with over 8,700 pipes. The instrument is so massive it fills the entire space.
